Morning Smoke (without picture  ) Slept in, did the dog thing, and am being picked up shortly by a shooting buddy. I'm range warden today. Should be a full house - weather warming up and bears are coming out, and lots of sighting in stuff gonna be happening. Spring bear is now open. So, no morning pipe.

Did have time for a cigar, though . . . had a Phillies Blunt Grape. Enjoyed it - and less hassle if you're rushed for time. Always liked this cigar, so I took out an extra one and a big pair of scissors, and am planning to cut it open tonight, dump out the tobacco, and stuff it into my best cheap pipe, the Muxiang "Uncle Henry." Never done this thing with a Phillies Blunt Grape cigar. Will let you know how it turns out this evening. I'm expecting good things.

Cheers. Just enough time to stuff a few pinches of SWR in a film can as chew, and go and do the warden thing. Have a great day, eh?

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. It's an off diet day! :) Watching the Pirates-Rays game.

Had some Ryback+P driving to work today in the Briarlee commuter pipe.

Work today is an eight hour captivity hearing the same stuff about hazardous waste operations and emergency response that I hear every year from a presenter with zero experience in the field.
Enjoying my lunch respite with a bowl of GH&Co Aniseed Twist in a Ropp J07.

Enjoyed two open face ham, cheddar cheese and double egg sandwiches, a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins gently thrown in, unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Yemen Mocha High Grown, neat, is my drink. Paul Skenes of the Pirates is as good as he was last year. A remarkable pitcher. The Rays have superior infield defense. Their shortstop, Wells, has made three tough plays that many who play that position wouldn't make. Going to check on two of David's estate pipes that I salt and alcoholed to see how they are doing. Two others are drying, and may be ready to go when I figure out what to smoke in them.

I'm not sure but I think SWR is still being made, just not made the same way🙁
Being made more like pickles😂
Yeah, still kicking myself for not jumping on those $30 clearance 14oz tins P&C was selling back when they shut down Tucker... but I was always a SWRA guy so I never prioritized it... glad I at least snagged a couple of the last real Ready Rubbed though...

You may have to switch to CH or PA. They're not the same as they use to be either but still ,not too bad.
I think I have found a couple of excellent go to blends. Not the same, but excellent in their own right. I recently made a first ever order from Watch City. Stubbs Pipe and Deluxe Crumb Cut. Both great smoking burley blends! Jim has well written reviews of both on TR. I agree with his assessment of both.
