It’s been a damp and windy weekend, so my smoking experiences have been less than sublime. I’ve had no bad smokes yet with this blend, but I had a couple bowls a week or two ago that set a really high bar: sweet, tangy, yet smooth and creamy, like I was eating an ethereal lemon tart. I’m getting hints of that today, but they’re faint. I think this is just a blend that I need to reserve for times when the weather is calm and I don’t have any distractions.

Stairwell smoke to stay out of the wind. Some 4th Gen Evening Flake in a cob. Not sure about the Evening Flake, I am finding it a bit lacking in flavor, but not bad otherwise.
I just had the best bowl of Lane 1-Q in the Pub Pipe ... I was running late and just gravity filled, pressed it with my finger, and lit it while driving ... wow ! Smooth and tasty ! They do smoke really well. I hate to say it but I'm starting to see some other pipes I don't really need or want anymore
