Several people have asked me the exact date for this meerschaum based on the silver band. After consulting the U.K hallmark guide it would appear that the band on this pipe is Birmingham 1900 which you can see if you blow up the picture. I am smoking a bowl of Gawith Broken Flake No:7 as I slowly work my way through the remaining half pound jar of the stuff from 2019

Near the half way mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
