Today I've been enjoying Sutliff Black Cherry in my MM Country Gentleman. I was drawn for the unlucky task of being a chaperone for this year's prom. Wife got off free 
Got 2 vintage clays today; 1 seems blocked but the other appears smokable; Special Virginia for its maiden smoke. The other seems blocked as it won't pass a pipe cleaner...
Holy slow burning tobacco! Yesterdays bowl in my Gepetto took over 2 hours. Starting my second bowl in the little meer, first bowl was just shy of 1 hour and 15 mins. Really enjoying this stuff, if you’re a Latakia lover it’s a great lat forward English blend and is like an everlasting goobstopper. 
A third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a straight smooth brown 1933-1945 Comoy’s patent Grand Slam 159 *4 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Special Virignia in a vintage clay I picked up today. One of them seems blocked so firing the other up. Had a few too many beers; going to get that clay pipe of baccy down my throat!

Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Loose Cut in the Bones this morning.
I've been having some real nasty sinus headaches lately and I'm guessing it's from retrohaling Virginia flakes and Burley blends that always seem to sting my sinuses a bit, so I'm taking a break from my usual blends and just smoking mellow aromatics for a few days. At some point I'd really like to find an un-topped plain Virginia/Burley blend that I can retrohale without it stinging my sinuses, but thus far I seem to only be able to retrohale sweet aromatics without sinus discomfort. Well, those and Nightcap, but Nightcap seems to be an odd outlier with it's uncanny smoothness.

Enjoyed a short snooze, and near the half way mark of this bowl of unreleased 2021 Sutliff Virginia Flake in a 2014 Savinelli Gaius smooth brown slight bend 320KS author with a black acrylic military mount ferrule and tapered stem. I had forgotten that I had this as I have occasionally been smoking two other unreleased Va. Flakes by Sutliff. This is so much like a deeper, darker Captain Blue. I wonder why they didn't put it on the market?
