We had some work done on the house- a couple of new bathrooms, arched some entryways, and every inch of the interior painted. We had to pack up everything, including my pipes. We just moved back in yesterday, most of my pipes are still boxed up. In addition to the paint my den got an overhead exhaust fan right above my chair. Last night was the test run and it worked fantastically well. I left the door open and my wife reported zero odor sitting around the corner. No more window fan for me!

Superb looking den and the exhaust fan sounds like a good edition. I can now relax safe in the knowledge that you are ensconced in appropriate surrounds and we will all once again get to marvel at your pipe collection. Thanks for sharing.

I went to the monthly Chicago Pipe Collectors Club meeting tonight after having missed a few months. I was so happy to see all my old buddies. During the meeting, which was a final review of assignments and procedures for the Chicago Show this coming week, I smoked Drama Reserve in my Peterson Arklow 80s.
This promises to be a great show. I hope y'all can make it.
Be sure to say "Hi" when you see me Friday and Saturday at the registration table.

Did a bit of necessary low calorie snacking, and have a third of a bowl left of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Sam and the babies are back in the bathroom, although Sam wasn't thrilled about it.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Getting ready to post the videos I made of the cat photos on Facebook.

Going to finish off the bowl of Directors Cut in a GDB. It had a Bad aftertaste that I think of is gone. Bowl Sande down wuth 400 grit the cotton balls and Alkohol treatment wuth warm water rinse as a final. First pipe of the day was my usual Haunted Bookshop in a Jirsa Nosewarmer. 17124748333907181867638065673183.jpg

With any luck, my last smoke of the day will be 2019 Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Reading baseball box scores.
