First day on the deck this year. Even though we’ve had a few really nice days with temps in the 80s, we still have snow on the ground believe it or not.

Smoking some Dunhill MM 965 in the General. It’s big but not as big as the picture suggests… that’s a 7.5 oz can of Cherry Pepsi.

Good day all! Started by making a poor match of pipe to blend, namely C&D John Marr in an Upshall P Bulldog with a .80" bore; lost the Orientals, etc., overall lousy smoke. So, stopped and switched to a 1" bore pot (an Upshall P Lovatt) that I usually use for this blend, and ... a lovely smoke was regained. Afternoon bowl of KBV Your Welcome in a Tilshead smooth Semibent with tapered stem.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have a tad less than a third of a bowl left of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaican Reserve, neat, is my drink.
