Very interesting change in this blend since it was 'fresh' (jarred for a couple months now). Not nearly as bright as first mixed. Started kinda punky/funky..then warmed up and milk chocolate now underlies it all. (Haunted Woods is 50/50 Haunted Bookshop and Northern Woods). Half way in, quite smooth, nice slight tingle on the retro. Overall more of a rich melded body, burns great. I loved it fresh..this, I like. Not what i was expecting. Needs more exploring. Need to look back to see what I last smoked in this pipe, choco may be a visiting ghost!Haunted Woods in a friend-made Lovat, with some blood red wine which I hope will tempt out the perfumed spirit that roams those misty and forlorn northern tracts...

The rustication is just perfect, it’s almost too nice to smoke! Lol anyway thank youjust love this brebbia. outstanding!
The dust taste great and on top of that it’s 8% best of both worldsI love the space dust.
Can't go wrong with Elysian - many moons ago when I lived in Seattle, Elysian's brewpub was a regular hangout after underwater hockey practice. The dust taste great and on top of that it’s 8% best of both worlds
interesting to read over the tobaccoreviews desc of this blend. no chocolate, just vanilla (and burley and..). I never did take 'vanilla' from this as i do from vanilla flake, and other primary vanilla aros. This pouch resides in my pipe 'go bag' which is mostly left alone lately and whenever i open it, a pleasant, and pungent, aroma is there. always strikes me as a chocolate. huh. Not like the chocolate under the Haunted Woods this evening! ;-) this is not that. btw, checked what was last smoked in the lovat, and it was Dorchester. Not a chocolaty aro (eg Fireside Chat which is in my current rotation). ah well. puffing away listening to the latest Pipesmag podcast. g'night!Continuing with the chocolate vibe, Arrowhead in a cob to end the evening.

Is that you? Where was that? You're a complete match to that hobbit illustration!
I gotta get myself to some mountains again to do the exact same thing. I haven't been in a while and definitely not since I started smoking.
I actually had come across MacQueen pipes not that long ago, but they had skipped out of my mind. Thanks for the reminder!
