I was just thinking of these pics, with you and your Churchwardens. :)

Have you heard of MacQueen pipes?

Is that you? Where was that? You're a complete match to that hobbit illustration!
I gotta get myself to some mountains again to do the exact same thing. I haven't been in a while and definitely not since I started smoking.

I actually had come across MacQueen pipes not that long ago, but they had skipped out of my mind. Thanks for the reminder!

I know whatcha mean, man. I remember when all Esoterica was easy to get. And when they became in short supply, the hoarders swooped in and helped fuel the problem we face. I'm lucky to have a decent supply of what I want.
When you say hoarding, how many tins are these folks buying? The most I buy,mid I really like something is 20. I might buy more of these later as opportunity permits but I’m assuming you mean more than 20?

Spilman Mixture, E. Hoffman Company, Chicago, in a MM/Dagner poker nose warmer. This is a revival of a blend that goes back to 1857. I'm getting to the bottom of a 7 oz. tin gifted me eight or so years ago. It's decidedly mild, but a nice change of pace.

Samuel Clemens said, you can do any amount of work, as long as it isn't what you're supposed to be doing. That's me so far today.
