Did a set of walking reps on 80 degree, cloudy weather, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Cardinals game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Another windy-as-fuck day in the midwest. I quickly decided to stop smoking my Savinelli 313 in favor of a clay with a mix of C&D red and bright Virginia ribbon.

Some good puffs here and there, but the inescapable wind turned most of the experience into hot flavorless tongue bite with gurgle. So I dumped that bowl, went inside, and took some High Dry Toast. Ah, much better. The end. :)

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost half way through this bowl of 2023 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Picked another pipe this time to see how the new batch is. Dunno why I bothered since it's as good as always. Lavazza Perfetto, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking year 2015 John Aylesbury Sir John’s Flake Virginia in a straight smooth light brown 2020 Ryan Alden Ace of Spades squat bulldog with a spalted pecan top and ferrule that’s on the tapered black acrylic stem. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

@B.Lew, I do have a windscreen that I sometimes use, but it doesn't seem to do much when it's windy enough out. And it's extra faffing about when I want to tamp. But rather than complaining, I should look at it as an opportunity for improvement, since I'm sure I could. ;)
Today’s wind is abnormal. Keeping me inside today, no pipe yet :(
