Part way through this bowl of Mac Baren HH Burley Flake in a 1979 smooth straight dark brown Loewe Army 910 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Some Windjammer from 2021 in a Georg Jensen bent brandy. Just popped the tin and as always rushed into smoking a bowl rather than throwing it in a jar and letting it sit for a few days. Tastes pretty good but will taste way better in a couple days. Although, as I'm getting into it, this definitely has a way more Burley taste than I remember, which is pretty good. Excited to keep smoking this. I blew through a few tins of this on its initial release and this is the first time I'm having it in maybe a little less than a year. One of my favorites.

Morning smoke was Walnut match in a new to me 3 star pipe by Lee. Then we had coffee with some friends followed by an afternoon smoke of Bald Headed Teacher in a new to me Tsuge Barrel. Good company and two new pipes that seem like they will be great smokers, can’t ask for more than that!
Great, thanks! Then my next order from MM will definitely include an Old Dominion clay! (And a Pony Express, since I'm kinda short of smaller pipes) But I have to wait a little bit, if I don't want to annoy the Missus...@daniel7 I recommend the Old Dominion clays; I also own Pollock & Markus Fohr pipes.

GLP Barbary Coast -- cubed burley, red Virginia, Perique, with a touch of brandy -- in a MM straight hardwood maple pipe.
It's a hickory pipe made by Missouri Meerschaum. I don't believe it's offered anymore. It was #5 in the BCW series. The pipe smokers great, but as you can imagine, she's a bit heavy.
