One of my current favorites, GLP Barbary Coast, cubed burley, red Virginia, Perique and a blessing of brandy, in the Caminetto bent Hawkbill I won in the military veteran limerick competition on Forums, a short pipe with a big chamber, a fine pipe.

We've been scrambling to get tax records that did not come in by mail on the regular schedule, but we have most of it, and have applied for an extension with our tax person. The usual stress and inconvenience. What ever happened to that proposed tax return we'd all file on a postcard? Huh. I have a bridge for sale.

Luckily my wife is a career reporter and tracked down one of her needed forms. I did a similar job a few days ago. IRS makes retirement look difficult.

@Scottmi This one?
Do you think it would suit my clay pipes? I think it sounds like a nice tasting mellow Virginia / Cavendish so I think it would suit the Clay King with his preferences for Virginia & Virginia / Cavendish blends. There are so many different tobaccos I'd like to try in my clays but if I started a cellar I'd smoke way too much when I'm only supposed to smoke pipeweed on special events.
Might take my redcoat and Jamestown clay if I go to Bolsover Castle this weekend; the Jamestown only has a small bowl so 10g of baccy should be enough and not burn a hole in my pocket - a saying I think goes back to the clay pipe era!

Now smoking 7-20-4 Dexter’s Secret (Briary Blends) in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a dark tortoise shell colored tapered acrylic stem. This broken flake blend has plenty of Latakia, some Va.s, burleys and Saint James perique. It's on sale at Twins Smoke Shop. Working on a review, of course. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Attempting to smoke War Horse Bar in my Kaywoodie in 20-40 MPH winds. Leaving it as chunky as possible is keeping it from burning too hot, but making for lots of relights. I should have let it dry a bit first.

@ThermionicScott Dad says when I went to see the Sealed Knot I spent all day trying to light my clay as it was so windy!

Good day all! Started with GLP Telegraph Hill in a large-but-small-bore Tilshead smooth Semibent with tapered stem. Followed later with another bowl of Peterson Flake in a small Upshall sandblast Bulldog with smooth rim and saddle stem size 4.

Yes that's the stuff - stoved at home and been in a jar for a few months now. Today was just excellent, easy to light (especially i expect from a blacksmith's ember) and clean tasty burn down to ash, with no rushing or relighting. Yes, I'm sure it would suit!
