We then walked Marco and I smoked some MacBaren VA #1 from 2013 out of my Republic Period Peterson Sandblast System 301. Kinda windy.

After that we came home and ate some vegan chicken nuggets with bbq sauce and fries. Now smoking Rattray’s Old Gowrie from my Peterson Premier System 314.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am now smoking Wilke Rum Cake in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. My drink is ice water and floaty li'l icebergs freshly shaven off the mean ol' big berg that sunk the Titanic. That durn fat berg just won't go away, folks.
Dude I’ve been trying to figure out what bergs was for months.

PS Luxury Navy Flake in a no-name rusticated apple. Where has this shit been all my life? My god this is great tobacco. Enjoying a cup of tea on a nice sunny evening out here on the porch, watching a red tailed hawk circle around and around...he must be nesting somewhere close.

Neighbors across the street have placed six 5 gallon buckets in a row in their driveway, the male just stepped out and peered into one, scratched his head, and walked back inside. I’m keeping a journal.

First smoke of the pre-‘96 Tilbury, in the Huseyin Cor meerschaum billiard. It doesn’t even taste like the Tilbury I know and love. It’s sweet, musky, funky, delightful.
I wanted to try it in the meer first, then I’ll try it in briar.

I would like to find a "plain" meer like that some day. The ones with heads and critters kind of creep me out. Heads have always creeped me out though.

HU Director’s Cut in a “1993 W. O. Larsen Hand Cut” brandy shape pipe.

I re-discovered this little pipe (and some others) a few weeks ago in a tote of pipes that I must have pulled from rotation 12-15 years ago. It is not a style I’m not usually drawn to and don’t remember where or when I acquired it. I reamed the chamber and cleaned it w/ alcohol but haven’t gotten around to polishing it yet. Smokes very cool and dry and has a very nice “hand feel” so I will finish the restoration.
