Half way through this bowl of Peter Stokkebye No. 17 English Luxury in a quarter bend smooth dark brown small bowl 2016 Brigham Algonquin 226 Rhodesian with a long black vulcanite tapered stem. This will get me to dinner time.
GH&CO Dark Birds Eye in a Bertram Safferling Smooth Egg with a diamond shank. Its tasting very cigarettish and it hasn’t in my other pipes.

I find it twice as delicious and totally untemperamental when packed nearly as tightly as possible after the bottom third, and in taller skinnier bowls.
Or the negative 10 gallon hat?!
Strange out of that blend to taste like cigs. Great tobacco in my book...

I totally agree! It's one of my favorites and my usual morning smoke. The pipe must have a bit of a ghost in it.
If packed too loose it will burn hot, fast, and ciggy. My first bowl was this way and I wasn’t a fan. I returned to it after finding a similar, tighter packing method worked well with margate and my mind was blown it was so good. Every bowl since has been divine. Wonderful tobacco.
