GH&CO Dark Birds Eye in a Bertram Safferling Smooth Egg with a diamond shank. Its tasting very cigarettish and it hasn’t in my other pipes.
Mmmmmm. Dark Birdseye......?

I find it twice as delicious and totally untemperamental when packed nearly as tightly as possible after the bottom third, and in taller skinnier bowls.

HH Acadian Perique in a Randy Wiley Patina Briar Calabash nicknamed “The Toilet Seat”.

That's about the size of a toilet seat in England

Strange out of that blend to taste like cigs. Great tobacco in my book...

I totally agree! It's one of my favorites and my usual morning smoke. The pipe must have a bit of a ghost in it.

If packed too loose it will burn hot, fast, and ciggy. My first bowl was this way and I wasn’t a fan. I returned to it after finding a similar, tighter packing method worked well with margate and my mind was blown it was so good. Every bowl since has been divine. Wonderful tobacco.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, meat loaf and asparagus dinner with orange slices for dessert. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching The Johnny Cash Show.
