Decided on another bowl of Grasmere Flake in another cob with Irish breakfast tea. These flake sure have frosted over. View attachment 26734

B, I'm with the CDC and believe those flakes are frosted over with Covid. I'm gonna need you to package them and the rest up and send them to me for study. If my suspicions are correct, you could help us find a cure and be a global hero!

In the mean time, I'm going to enjoy this bowl of GH&CO Black Cherry Twist with a dash of Latakia

Some OJK in a super cheap Roma basket Billiard...i think it’s a billiard. I’m no good with shapes. It’s snowing right now, and my tea is getting cold. It was a rather long day of prepping ground, dragging giant silage tarps, 60 pound sandbags, 50lb potato sacks and compost bags all over hell’s half acre today. But I’ve got to install the new dishwasher tonight if I want to sleep inside. I’m making this smoke last, my dudes.

Neighbors across the street have re-arranged their pink marking flags. I talked to the male before leaving for work, and he’s gonna bring me a bucket full of fill dirt with the skid steer he keeps in full view, in his driveway. He also invited me over, post-pandemic, “to see all the stuff I’ve been working on over here...” I cannot wait to see their spaceship or whatever the hell they’ve got going on.
OMG you keep cracking me up with the updates on the neighbor's! Keep it coming!!

Good Morning all! Gonna start the day off with some Luxurious Naval Flake in a MM diplomat apple straight corncob. Thinking about getting a forever stem for this one.
Highly recommend. I ordered a few Forever Stems. Great people at WalkerBriarWorks.com (They even sent me photos to my surprise and I was able to choose between a couple stems that were a little in question.), and the stems have really increased my enjoyment of cobs.

Maybe this is helpful, the longer stems have a smaller taper at the mouth as well. I like the added girth of the regal and spear type stems. Didn't know how much I would enjoy the ever slightly fatter mouth, but I prefer them much over the size of the thinner mouths only the churchwarden and shorter churchwarden most of the time. I never would have thought this when I ordered, in fact, I thought the opposite. However, a 4.5 inch or so church stem on my Country Gentleman still feels great. Also, if a stem is a little slightly loose (my last Apple with a Spear Stem), I just wet the inside of the shank with some water and it swoll to a perfect fit actually got a little tighter than I would prefer, but it's working back to perfection with use.
