Solani Aged Burley Flake... I thought I didn't prefer more burley-forward blends... so on a lark, and maybe because of the name, I tried War Horse and absolutely loved it!! Then I saw Shane Ireland of spc reviewing the Solani. I really enjoy Shane's posts and find that I "get" a lot of the same things he does from bakkies. His writing turned me on to Wessex BVF in a big way as well. This Solani was incredible... deep, rich, complex... just really delicious! Oh yes... in a beautiful Big Ben flamee silver army mount! For me, a perfect combo!

I just finished some GL Pease Triple Play in my Ropp Cherry Wood bent barked panel. This pipe is a perfect small bowl. Light and comfortable. The vulcanite stem is a gem.
