Rotary Navy Cut. Plus, I could taste some Dark Strong Flake through the first third of the bowl- which was the last tobacco I smoked in this pipe.

Now smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. So now I've smoked all four of Basil's pipes that I own today. I highly recommend them as you no doubt have guessed. Working and listening to the great Vin Scully call the Dodgers-Mariners game on MLB TV. Mariners lead 3-0 in the first.

@jiminks - so sorry to hear about Dexter and Herb - must seem like you're on a little run atm.
Very early start for me after a late night, so Royal Yacht in a black, rusticated Rattray Short Fellow #60 plus a double shot black coffee to start the heart.

Andy: Thanks. It's tough to lose friends and people you've known and worked with. We're at the point where the old guard has dwindled to a level I wish was higher than it has become.

Dunhill Flake in a black, rusticated Comoys Majestic pot with a saddle stem. This pipe was made in the 1960s and was unsmoked until last winter. It is wonderful, especially for a factory pipe. I wish they still made them like this.
