Right now I'm sitting on my balcony. Spring is on its way, I'm getting glimpses of it, but it's not quite here yet. The sun is out but it's a bit nippy in the air. I just lit a bowl of straight burley from a Swedish store/brand called brobergs. Just the second time I smoke my new Peterson Aran but I like it. Still breaking it in I get some really nice earthy flavors from the tobacco. Gotta remember to puff slow.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend

Good on you @alexnorth and welcome!
Cortez - you've done me again. That hawkbill is to die for.

Been home for a while from the Raleigh Pipe Show. Had a great time. Got a new pipe from Basil Meadows, spent time with the Sutliff guys, and m'lady and I worked their table quite a bit. Had fun hanging out with retired Sutliff blender Carl McAllister and Russ Ouellette, and Chuck Stanion from Tobaccos Reviews and Pipes and Tobaccos magazine, too. Smoked a couple bowls of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem. Gonna post a pic later. Just finished Modern Va. in a 1978 Dr. Grabow Omega. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature is my drink.

James80 said, "Just about to smoke Jiminks in a pipe of irony and scepticism.... " What in the world does that mean?

C&D Stratfordshire (courtesy of Forums member) in a smooth bent pot Tinder Box St. Ives (possibly by Chacom); pipe is a sitter with a somewhat unique vertical saddle stem, first pipe I ever owned and still going strong
