Shorelinster in a meer lined Canadian. Shorelinster: a hand mixed assemblage (50/50) of Newminster 400 and 403, torn and mixed with a tiny pinch of 52.
The charring light provides an immediate Virginia sparkle and as the pipe is clenched and breath smoked very lightly the char continues gently and remains VA forward, sweet and bright.
I let the pipe go out and rest it for 5 min.
A very light tamp and I touch another match to the blend. Now, the dark fired burley tempers the VA and just a hint of lat makes for some mellow, easy burning and satisfying mid bowl.
I recommend this blend to anyone with a pipe and the makins.
