It's a toss up between the Brothers and Lord of the Rings for my favorite novel. This is my third time through, but it has been 15 years since the last read. I really enjoy this translation, it uses the Garnett but corrects the mistakes. It's highly readable and maintains the 19th century feel of the Garnett prose. I have only read a couple of the essays included, but they seem very interesting.
I've been wanting to read that.

Our church was gifted a relic of St. Ambrose, one of the inspirations for Elder Zosima. Venerated it tonight, after vespers. Great book.

Just launching into Steven King’s ”It”. I spent all summer in Maine and got intrigued by his writings, saw his old home, etc. Read 7 of his books this year, but this one is really a commitment due to its length. Wish me luck!
