Having recovered from the effects of my booster jab I'm now tapping toes to Charlie Byrd and the boys. Sometimes it sounds as though he's playing two guitars simultaneously....very clever!

Ah yes. The Doobies Brothers with Tom Johnston, before Michael McDonald. Not that there is anything unlistenable with McDonald, but they were a different band and sound, and my personal preference, in the earlier albums, like this one.
Great song and a great album. I've listened to it over and over all day today.
I have all their albums and even saw them in concert once, they were a great band!
UK residents may recognise this tune from the television advertisement appearing in recent months. Featuring the brokenhearted chap on a sunny holiday somewhere beautiful, but sobbing uncontrollably because the airline has lost his luggage crammed full of his two-week supply of Heinz baked beans.
I enjoyed Miles Davis' Live Evil last night. It was this album that introduced me to the piano of Herbie Hancock & guitar of John McLaughlin (a fellow Yorkshireman BTW) and by extension the Mahvishnu Orchestra. Pretty ethereal stuff.
