Feed the fire, feed the flame
Over and over, again and again
Your hungry heart, your restless soul
You got 'em for nothin', you gotta let go

I went down by the river
Saw the footprints in the sand
Leading to nowhere
I guess I'll never understand

Maybe I crave a nightmare
To be in the middle of
Or maybe I'm searching
For waters I can rise above

It's getting closer to All Hallows' Eve, and I thought I'd share a bit of the new soundtrack Phillip Glass wrote to accompany the classic 1931 Dracula. Here is Glass, on the keyboard, with the Kronos Quartet in a section of that score.

I’ve come to enjoy the way Glass uses repetitive motifs in his music. When I first heard him years ago, I must admit, I thought, Oh No! Pachelbel’s canon!

The medicine took over and I'm in the mood for something wild.
First up was Ninja Label's own Coldut, from the UK, with Atomig Moog (Cornelius Mix)

Followed by the next track in the list: Every Home A Prison (Shut up & Dance Mix)

But this kind of stuff doesn't belong here so I forced myself to something else. Getting in slow with:
Spangly Feet - Dazed & Confused

And going on to:
Bula Matari - Taxi Drivers Must Die

Mellowing down now, putting on a sound I always liked while walking around, perfect beat for a brisk constitutional: Fats Domino - I'm Walking:

Perfect anytime:
The Blues Brothers - Peter Gunn Theme
The Blues Brothers - Peter Gunn Theme (Official Audio) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DgFOsEs-kE

And now she went and did dun it, she caught the Katy and left the bum with a mule to ride.
The Blues Brothers - She Caught The Katy

Alrighty then, all the vino medicine is downed and the deck is consumed by thick smoke, me wretched eyes full of floury and milky sight. Avast yeself, for this wretched song will blow a man down:
Verne Langdon - Vampire At The Harpsichord
CARNIVAL OF SOULS VERNE LANGDON VAMPIRE AT THE HARPSICHORD - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPLLO18HYWQ

For my last drop of medicine and the grande finale I'm gonna get a little nasty:
Peste Noire - Ballade Cuntre Lo Anemi Francor
Peste Noire Ballade Cuntre Lo Anemi Francor - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y6gBcw0pWk

But it calms down with the packing of the next clayen pipe of good tobac and:
Gustav Holst - The Planets - Mars, the bringer of War
Gustav Holst - Mars - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jmk5frp6-3Q

Followed by a little something to lively up myself:
Edvard Grieg with Peer Gynt's - The Halls Of The Mountain King
Edvard Grieg, In the Hall of the Mountain King from "Peer Gynt" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrIYT-MrVaI

I will end all this with Dvořák:
Dvořák: Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" / Karajan · Berliner Philharmoniker - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_1N6_O254g

Does anyone remember the film Jaws (1975)?

“Likes” for the Blues Brothers; “loves” for Holst, Grieg, and Dvorak.
