Wembley Arena used to be the Empire Pool; I don't know if the pool has just been covered or filled in but the building was granted Grade II listed status in 1976. I saw the Grateful Dead and Wings there. I also saw Yes and Pink Floyd at Earls Court which also had a pool that could be covered (so the London motor show used to be on top of the pool and the covers were removed for the London Boat Show.

I am a huge fan of bands that have a real band. Like instruments like Sax's, Horns, Strings, multiple key boards. I was a musician and I appreciate how a song is produced and I hate one beat shit heards like the Ramones.

Ronnie James Dio was amazing! What a great singer, songwriter and performer. I’m more partial to his work in Black Sabbath, Mob Rules and Dio, Holy Diver.
