Currently listening to King Crimson ~ The Great Deceiver vol. 2.
I've been listening to hours of Led Zeppelin, and perhaps for the first time, listening critically, mostly concert footage from the early and mid-seventies. Youtube has a ton of content.
So as they begin each song they are mostly introduced by a familiar killer riff; song after song after song. Page and Plant dominate, and even though Page has a very noisy guitar, Plant's voice and presence are formidable, and I would say they are equal.
I am not a musician and my ability to relate what I heard is limited, but Page is apparently a virtuoso with few equals.
Overall I think they kick it like few others.
