In the wake of Charlie Kirk's passing, I have shut down most social media and have been reconnecting with my faith. In this season of my life, I have found that Bible Hip Hop best reflects where I want to be.
This is one of my favorite Teddy Pendergrass songs but until today I was unaware that Donald Fagen's Dukes of September band had performed a cover of it featuring Boz Scaggs singing lead.

Gamadza, a Russian pianist that transposes all kinds of rock and roll songs to solo piano. She plays in various places and with various pianos, some of which are total junk by the looks of them. This one set in snow with her sitting on a tire in an area that looks like it could be outside Chernobyl (but probably not) is just so interesting. So many to choose from and they're all really good!
