Just got this from Lil Willie himself, a local Mississippi blues singer. He plays at his own blues joint shown in the photo, which is only about 5 miles from where I live, but plays all over the country, including Morgan Freemans club Ground Zero in Clarksdale.
First time hearing this musician. Great stuff.
Clarksdale was also once a home to Mr. McKinley Morganfield a.k.a. Muddy Waters.

Morrissey - November Spawned a Monster, from Bona Drag (1990). Timing is pure coincidence.
I think that was his first album. I have it on vinyl and it's pretty amazing as well.
As long as I'm on a blues kick, here's another fun Mississippi blues album on the Fat Possum label. I think it's a defunct label now though, but so much fun and historic stuff on this.
Currently listening to Charlie Musselwhite ~ Signature.
