Last night I was listening to some John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra. Most was pretty good stuff but some of it was a bit 'bang crash wallop' so perhaps more careful listening is required

Last night's entertainment was both audio & visual. First up was Jethro Tull's Aqualung CD recorded live at a US radio station before a specially selected audience. The whole is played in proper order and really is a delight to hear.
Second up was the Eagles Hell Freezes Over DVD. It's the first time I played this in 5:1 and it was delightful though some of the songs were new to me.
