Lots of people like Reggae, and rightly so. But since I came to it as a suburban kid from podunk, Washington, it isn't really my music. I say that to say this: the same wonder and excitement I feel towards reggae also applies to Island music from the Pacific. There is a ton of great music coming out of the South Pacific and it never seems to get the love it deserves.
