I was fooling around on YouTube and came across this fabulous Patsy Cline recording. This woman could be reading the dullest political diatribe on the planet and I'd there. This woman could sing the world's greatest ballads. A sad day when she died at age 30 in a plane crash with three other folks. First winner of the Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts show. It's been over 60 years since she died and she's still the best!

Born 95 years ago today, Link Wray (who died in 2005), was a major influence in Rock history. Here is the 1958 recording of "Rumble" by Link Wray and His Ray Men that both Pete Townshend and Jimmy Page, among many others, list as the record that got them started.

A local band played this about 20 years ago, during a break (recorded). I asked who this was, and was a fan ever since. Link also had a native American Indian connection.

This one is a sinister sounding favorite.

This song closed out Ep3 of "The Veil" (GREAT show with Elizabeth Moss). I had not heard of this band, beautiful song and lyrics.

As a young boy of 9-11 years of age remember listening to Patti Page. I thought she was incredible.
