The late Walter Bernhardt's Felinicity. Mr. Bernhardt was a piano-players' pianist whose artistry eventually caught the attention of Steely Dan's Donald Fagen, leading him to be named the band's Musical Director in 1993 and 1994. If he could impress a craftsman like Mr. Fagen, then Mr. Bernhardt must have been very good, indeed!
I got this oldie out to play for my family. They're into country quite a bit and this is the first country album I bought. Not because of the music so much, but because of the group the sang it. The Byrds, Sweetheart of the Rodeo from 1968, my original album I bought back in that year. I cleaned it up and it sounds remarkably good!
