Charlie Parker died before the Bossa Nova era began in the late 1950s. He did, however, record some sides with Machito and his Afro-Cubans, and was influenced by Machito to do other Latin/Mambo tunes. There are a few compilation albums that include this stuff.Didn’t Charlie Parker do a Bassa Nova album?
