Currently listening to Anthony Wilson and Chico Pinheiro's wonderful album Nova after smoking a little Plum Pudding in an old WDC bakelite Belge that's one of my favorite pipes I've ever had.

It's a great, if chilly, evening here in small-town central TX. There's the magical smell of barbecue smoke in the air as there often is. Someone is burning some cedar not too far away, too. I love that smell and will never forget it from my first trip to Texas a very long time ago.

Yesterday the temp dropped fricking 56 degrees in 24 hours.

But I digress. Give Nova a listen if you like jazz and Brazilian music.
