Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan has been left bed-ridden after breaking his knee and ate yesterday “for the first time in days”.
His wife Victoria Mary Clarke revealed the 63-year-old singer suffered a small fall in their home.
The 55-year-old told the Irish Mirror: “He’s broken his knee so he’s in a cast and can’t get out of bed, he’s lost his appetite.
“He ate today for the first time in a day or two.
“He was literally getting from the chair to the bed and he fell, so you know he’s usually pretty good humoured.
“Some days are better than others. He doesn’t complain about being in pain but it can be hard.”

My favorite song since the first time I heard it... RIP Chick, thanks for the magic. Just posted something by Herbie last night, then listened to Chick and Herbie playing alone together... yeah, magic is the only word.
