My christmas evening entertainment was some long forgotten about U2 albums. Not played these in years and after last night I think I'll chuck Rattle And Hum and keep the other two as part of my thinning out process.

Beware Jay.
I had a major thinning out of my CD collection which ran into well over four figures because I was moving house. Now six/seven years later I which I hadn't been so ruthless. I've bought a few Best Off CDs since to compensate but they never seem to contain your favourite tracks.
I know musical tastes change over the years and you think you've outgrown the old stuff. But sometimes it's our old music that can evoke memories of a time and place.
