"Roots Music" from Tulane (La.) Public Radio, available online or from your smart speaker, tonight old piano hits. It's exceedingly well curated and done with a lot of energy, broadcast Saturdays at 6 p.m. but likely available as back programs any time. We love it, along with WUNC Back Porch Music which comes on at 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

I can remember the first time I heard that song. I was 10 years old, in a restaurant in Wichita Falls TX on a road trip from Oregon to Louisiana to see relatives for the holidays. My dad is an old time country kinda guy, and he really got a kick out of seeing us kids get a kick out of it!
