I was listening to Clifford Brown on LP, and remembered that the only extant live performance was a clip from Soupy Sales' late night show Soupy's On.
I had commented, on another thread, about being a big fan of Soupy and his contributions to TV history.
Here, then, is the rough kinescope of Brownie playing two short improvisations on "Oh, Lady Be Good" and "Memories Of You," and speaking with Soupy after his performance.
