Violinist Yehudi Menuhin once appeared on Bob Hope's radio show. Hope sidekick Jerry Colonna was apparently tickled by the musician's first name and began asking, "Who's Yehudi?" That question had (has) a delightful rhythmic lilt to it, and was made humorous by Mr. Colonna's unique voice. His question became an ongoing bit which grew and grew, subsequently spawning a novelty song performed by Kay Kyse with vocals by Mr. Colonna. It was also covered by Mr. Cab Calloway.
