George Freeman, Chicago jazz giant, passed on Monday at the age of 97. The versatile and much honored guitarist, who played with all the greats, including Charlie Parker, was still performing, and his final album was released just two years ago. From that album, here is the title tune "The Good Life" with Christian McBride on bass and Carl Allen on drums.
