This is the first rockabilly song that I ever recall hearing, and it was played on a warm summer afternoon on a large outdoor jukebox at a concession stand in a public park in my home state. I loved it then, and I still love it today:
Heard this earlier this week on SiriusXM's Siriusly Sinatra and did a double-take at Mr. Martin's lyrical improvisation on the Johnston and Burke standard Pennies From Heaven. Enjoy!
Now for something totally different: bluegrass group Benson (mandolin player Wayne Benson and his banjo playing wife Kristin) playing Conway. Kristin won the International Bluegrass Music Association's Banjo Player of the Year award in 2023.
