After a very long time I purchased a scotch which is not a single malt. After a couple of drinks, I am wondering if it is a pass / fail, but tending towards a fail.

Today
1. Johnny Walker Green Label Blended Malt 15 yo
2. Laphroaig Lore
3. Irish Whisky - Redbreast 12yo

I only buy what I can drink in a reasonable amount of time (2-3 months). This is how it was looking last week.

I’m drinking some of that Old Forester 1910 I see in your background. Great stuff! Really unique flavors. It’s like a carmel butterscotch dark chocolate dried dark fruit candy.
I agree. It‘s one of the most balanced and flavorful bourbons, being offered today. For a 93 proof spirit, it punches well above it‘s weight class. It’s one of my favorites, along with it‘s big brother, 1920.
