Had my first ever taste of Knob Creek Rye Whiskey last night. WOW was that super nice :col:

Pretty expensive this side of the pond but I'm coming to the (obvious?) conclusion that the more money spent the better the product. I'd put it right up there with Jim Beam Single Barrel, Woodford Reserve, Maker's Mark and Rebel Yell.

Picked up two new bottles.

1. Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whiskey. 92 Proof. Made from roasted Blue Corn.

2. Glen Fohdry Fion Frangach. A Speyside Single Malt double maturation. First in American Oak and then in French Wine Barrels.

I also picked up a mini bottle of Oregon Spirit Straight American Wheat Whiskey. Next time out I will be buying a 750ml bottle of it. Very good.
