Had a very enjoyable afternoon with a couple of pipe buddies and a mini-tasting of Hine. 1957 and 1946 being their birth years.

Following on from yesterday, a Hine Family Reserve with a Padron Family Reserve 45 years maduro. With a chai tea, as served in India - strong, milky and sweet.

I recently discovered a local distillery, Spirit Works, in Sebastopol, CA. They make a Barrel aged gin that is really good. toss in a couple of ice cubes and that is all you need. Their whiskey is very good as well

I had to stop for a bit, they were going down to easy.
To be honest it was the best choice I could see at my local bottle-o, I’m really keen on trying on some Havana rum after this is gone, see how they compare.

Queenslander? Nahh.. but I find it amusing how everyone loves great northern, xxxx and bundy rum yet like to put shit on each other
