I neglected to take a picture, but tonight my wife and I had Last Words. It's one of our top favorite drinks, and I enjoy tweaking it in various directions to see what sucks, or what could be our next go-to recipe. Tonight's involved fresh lime juice, Luxardo liqueur, Luxardo Del Santo (their attempt at a Green Chartreuse substitute), and Hendrick's Grand Cabaret gin. That gin includes stone fruit flavors, so you have to be ready for your drink to take a slightly fruity turn. They were delicious!

1). “Believed to be” 1953 Ch. Petrus
Very full bodied ??chapitalised
Faded after an hour
2). 1960 Ch. Lafite - the lightest colour and body but beautiful, ethereal flavour. My favourite.
3). 1970 Ch. Mouton Rothchild - on song. Fully deserved its elevation to Premier Cru status in 1973
4). 1962 Ch. Nenin - nice wine but spoiled by an odd faecal note. I was told that it cleaned up after a while, but couldn’t bring myself to have another mouthful. Pity

Best wine ?
A tie - 2 votes each for the 1960 Lafite and the 1970 Mouton
