The weekend consisted of cheap gin martinis on Friday (didn't have time to get more Beefeater), Woodford Manhattans on Saturday and a pre-dinner Rowan's Creek + a nice Cab to go with what turned out to be an excellent steak dinner.
Been dry for about three months. I go through this once in awhile. Just not in the mood. Got me couple of bottles the other night, but haven't opened them. Just a bottle of Bushmills and a bottle of Sailor Jerry. Maybe this weekend.
I love Whiskey and I enjoy tea so I tried something new tonight... I put whiskey in my tea. Sláinte! ?
For my money, beer doesn't get much better than this... Murphy's Irish Stout.

At the moment I have had to change the brandy for a glass of warm milk with honey................
You should try some Issac Bowman Port Finished Bourbon. Some reviewers don't give it as high marks as Angel Envy but I think that's mainly because it retails for around $41 a bottle. That being said, one reviewer said "where Angel Envy has a light kiss of port, Issac Bowman is more of a slap in the mouth."
I just finished a bottle of Kirk & Sweeney Gran Reserva. If you can find it, try some Cana Fuerte 16Yr Aged Rum .
One of my clients gave me a bottle of Blanton's as a Christmas present. I keep it locked in my filing cabinet.
A hot 29c day so a cold Isenbeck beer was called for.
