Well, I said no beer during Lent and this is the day before Lent. Although raised Catholic I'm more an agnostic or atheist these days. I still find value in giving up something for Lent.

So beer it is! Kloster Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel and also Astra Urtyp. The doppelbock because I'm just a little sick and that is my go to sick beer and the utryp because it is here and I want to drink all the remaining beer in the house tonight to avoid temptation between now and Easter.

Chuck Full Of Nuts Original Coffee, the brand that Jackie Robinson headed for a while. The Original is good. We also like the New York Dark Roast and Cuban. My wife likes it done in a French press, and I stick with my anachronistic stove-top percolator. When I mentioned the percolator on Forums some years ago, another member posted, "Dad, is that you?"
