Yea definitely tis the season for bourbon and egg nog in our house. Trick to a good one is to keep adding bourbon until you can just barely make out the egg nog

My wife and I went to a Bhakta Armagnac tasting last night. Tasted several vintages including our birth years.
Armagnac is new to me, but so far I am enjoying it.

A friend and I went to an upscale Scotch tasting last night. Tasted 14 quarter ounce samples of bottles ranging from $100 to $4800. We both found the 40 and 46 year old scotches to lack finish. They were good, but not that much better than most of the other bottles. I came home with a Glendronach 18 year old and a Glendronach Port wood.
Well that's a wrap for this year for me, I've handed over the reins to the staff for Christmas and new year and its time to kick back, invest in family, relax and take stock on what 2023 has been.
As I sit here penning this my drink is some Redbreast 12 years but I'd say there will be many many more delicious posts in this thread over the coming days.

Hit the beer distro earlier. Dude was doing a tasting and had food…bilyani? Rice and lamb With a yogurt sauce . I might be misspelling. His food was Indian so is he. Washed it down with a sample of Brooklyn chocolate stout, which actually paired nice. Now I’m drinking a Heady Topper. 
Picked up this advent calendar at Costco, quantity over quality here and I’m fine with that. Better get started on it.
Diet Pepsi as diet coke wasn't on special. Might have some Buffalo trace later still debating if I want to or not.
Bullet rye in Miller . Save the Irish w. for a little water and ice.
Haven't had Heady Topper in years -- amazing stuff.
Diet Pepsi and wild turkey rye 101 on the side.
Seagrams Gin and White Rock tonic with twist of lime. So good!
