Some good friends are visiting from Mexico so we worked our way through fantastic XO Cognacs:

13912

We are now sampling an Armagnac from my birth year and it outstanding:
13913

The Armagnac was a gift and I only have a glass or two per year. I'd like to find a couple more bottles to continue with and last the remainder of my time with.

Today it’s Jim Bean and Diet Mtn Dew - don’t knock it until you try it.
Mountain Dew is slang for moonshine. And the beverage started as a mixer for cheap whiskey, it's changed quite a bit, but it's easy to see it as a very sweet sours mix when you mix it with whiskey. Ecto cooler was(?) also a better cheap whiskey mixer (do they still make that stuff?).
Drinking Ahmed of London Ceylon Tea Opa, very good especially considering how affordable it is at the International Market. Makes for a great second brewing.

Mind if I stop by for a little brandy nip.
