What Are Some Light/Sweet VA/VaPers?

I’m trying to make up a list of Light/Sweet VAs & VaPers, but I stress the words ‘Light’ & ‘Sweet’. I don’t want Spicy or Savory at all.

I’ve been really digging around, but still not 100% certain, any help putting together would be greatly appreciated.

I also prefer sweeter tasting Red VAs over Regular or Bright VAs, but as long as anything is sweet, I’m game.

The ones that come to mind for me would be Orlik Golden Sliced (very, very little Perique), PS Luxury Navy Flake, Newminster 400 Flake (very sweet to me) and PS Luxury Twist Flake.

I also don't consider Escudo to be all that dark and savory, but it definitely has more going on than some of the others I listed.

There are plenty more out there, but for the sake of not composing a "Top 20 Sweet VAs & Va/Pers" list, I figured I would narrow it down to the ones above.

Sutliff Crumble VaPer fits your request better than anything else is likely to. You'll barely notice the perique in Orlik Golden Sliced, but I'll recommend that as well as Stokkeye Luxury Navy Flake.

Co-sign on Orlik Golden Sliced. And, IMO, HH Pure Virginia is sweet(ish).

From what I remember Peretti London Flake is pretty light and sweet but perhaps a little peppery.

OGS and the Former VaPer blends are the first I think of. But none of these are light and sweet initially, they get there with 3 to 5 years of aging.

Light and sweet would be Mac Baren Virginia #1 (no perique though). For Red Virginia, try Sutliff Matured Red 515.

I would agree with the Orlik GS recommendations, also with the Sutliff 515 suggestion. I might add Sutliff crumble cake red VA. Maybe a litttle less sweet but nice VA would be Union Square

OGS, yes. If you want to try something down the aromatic road (but not too far) I would recommend GH Glengarry Flake. It's straight Virginia with some honey topping, and it's delicious and easy to smoke.

Solani 633 is the one that comes to my mind. Not spicy, not savory, just light and sweet.

Fribourg & Treyer’s whole straight VA range, but particularly Cut VA Plug, Cut Blended Plug, Vintage Mixture, and if you are ok with Ribbon Cut Golden Mixture (although that one is a little lacking flavor-wise compared to the above).

As a side note, their Special Brown Flake is the true gem of their line up, but it’s quite a bit fuller.

Light, Back Down South by BriarWorks. Nice smooth blend, but not exactly sweet. Peterson Navy Roll is mild and some time in the jar brings out nice dark fruit.

It might not fit into the category, but I’ve grown fond of Jon Marr from C & D. There is some Turkish & black cav in there so it’s not a straight VaPer blend. It is a smooth & solid smoke easy enough to be enjoyed all day. I find the perique is just enough to add balance & not be too peppery.

This deff got spciy for me as I went down the bowl. I’d recommend Number 8 Slices for OP over London Flake if suggesting a vaper from LJP.

For a sweet straight VA I like Wessex Gold Brick but its such a pain to get. Either Hamborger Veermaster or Patriot Flake after that.

Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bulls Eye does it for me! Not very sweet as a light VA/Per goes, but that cavendish center just makes it nice pulling the notes into a great smoke...
