But this goes to demonstrate what I didn't believe in until recently--certain aspects and agents of government, while perhaps meaning well, work against the majority. It's not just tobacco: people who need certain medications now cannot get them without picking up a renewed prescription despite the dificulty in doing so (someone in extreme pain, for instance, having to drive 45 minutes to the doctor for a renewal when pain significantly affects their ability to drive). Take your pick on how they personally affect you beyond smoking.
