I finally just ran out of some Dunhill Dark Flake a buddy from another forum sent me. My lord was that good stuff. Kicking myself for passing up on 5 tins that sold for a decent price
I like it a lot too. When Dunhill got out of the biz and before anyone really knew what was going to happen with future production and all of their blends were selling like hotcakes and going out of stock on SP, Dark Flake and a couple others were still in stock and going for less than $10/tin for quite awhile. I couldn't believe it stayed in stock as long as it did and kept grabbing a half dozen tins every week or 2. I just counted and I still have 25.

Makes you wonder why it was one of the last to sell out and didn't make the cut when Peterson took over. Deluxe Navy Rolls and Elizabethan got/gets enough VaPer love for them I guess. If I ever sell off my stuff like hoosier is, I'll keep you in mind. But, don't hold your breath. ;)

I saw it on the shelf at a B&M once. Looked like it had been sitting there for quite some time. I tend not to buy things I couldn't get a fair amount of. What if I really liked it?
Probably a good way to go about things. I bought a lot of tobacco from a member here and it contained one tin of Winter time Flake. I smoked most of it in a couple weeks and have been rationing the last few bowls. Live and learn.
