Got laid off as part of redundancies last month, didn't help that I'd had to have a operation last year that ended up with me having 4 months off work on statutory sick pay. Had a interview today that I felt really upbeat about then came home to a eviction notice from my mortgage company through the court. Hope they send a bailiff with a fire extinguisher

Sorry to hear that, Mac. I take it you're in the UK given the talk of bailiffs. The collection & repossession regulations seem a lot tougher over there.
